Feria De Salud is an important event in the community and an opportunity to participate in preventive health care.
The New Mexico Hispanic Medical Association has held Feria de Salud for the past 12 years, and will take place on Saturday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at First Choice, South Valley Health Commons located at 2001 Centro Familiar Southwest here in Albuquerque.
They are targeting the Hispanic population in general and are here to provide services for people who are not insured or do not have easy access to health care services.
For some community members, this could be their only chance to see a health care provider all year.
